People of Galway; This is Danielle

We’re having the chats with #PeopleofGalway for the craic — messers and chancers, artists and tourists, buskers and shopkeepers, and any other unwitting victims we meet on the street.

#ThisIsGalway “It’s hard to put my finger on it, but I always doodled on my notebooks in school and scribbled on paper- anything to keep my fidgety hands busy. I started to draw mandalas and more complex designs when my sister brought me back a beautiful purple tapestry from Kolkata, India. I still have it hung in my bedroom today. I just remember seeing it, and thinking about how calming and aesthetically pleasing this little piece of fabric was, and how I only ever wanted to be surrounded by those things. So I bought a sketchbook and I picked up a pen.”
