Pálás Cinema will be bursting with festive favourites this December

It's the time of year to spread some cheer, so start making a film list and check it twice, as Pálás Galway bring you Naughty or Nice! Check out the Christmas lineup here..

There’s plenty of nostalgia with the usual lineup of all your festive favourites and hijinks with the addition of contemporary classics which will be sure to please all from Buddy the Elf to Scrooge himself. There’s also the opportunity to ring in the new year with old (or new) friends as the season comes to an end with When Harry Met Sally on New Year’s Eve.

On planning the season, Pálás Cinema Programmer William Fitzgerald commented: “This December our screens become resplendent in technicolour, and snowy vistas in black and white. The best films of the season make up this year’s Naughty or Nice list, from a 70th Anniversary screening of Michael Curtiz’s White Christmas, to another look at last year’s instant Christmas classic, Alexander Payne’s The Holdovers. Then come and ‘have what she’s having’ to ring in the New Year with When Harry Met Sally.”
