As a Duty Manager at The Eye Cinema, you will be a key leader within a fast-paced and dynamic cinema environment. You will oversee a team of staff, you will be responsible for the health and safety of junior team members, patrons and the premises while maintaining smooth operations. This role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. Candidates should be confident, commercially aware, and have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of people. You will be required to be flexible in your availability and you need to be able to work a mix of day shifts, evening shifts and weekends as assigned by senior management on the roster. Occasionally you may also be assigned other shifts filling in for roles on the floor (Concessions, Bar, Ushering, etc) where you will be supporting your fellow Duty Managers and junior Team Members. Previous cinema/retail or venue experience in a similar leadership role is desirable but all relevant training will be provided.
