Grammy shortlisted duo Niall Teague & Padraic Joyce share new single “Another Merry Christmas”

The Grammy shortlisted and Galway-based folk duo, Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce have just release their new single 'Another Merry Christmas', in the run up to the Christmas season.

Fresh from touring their Grammy shortlisted album “What Will We Be”, Niall and Padraic, award- winning songwriters in their own right (International PanCeltic Songwriting Contest 2019, Oireachtas Original Song Contest 2021), are gunning to be a decade long overnight success with a song that celebrates both their love of the Yuletide season and hook-filled classic songwriting.

The arrangement ticks all the boxes you could wish for in a seasonal classic and really gets the festive spirit flowing. From its opening intimate vocal delivery with Eleanor Rigby-like cello accompaniment, to its climactic closing passage, the song is bursting with Christmas energy. Contributions from percussion wizard Jim Higgins (The Stunning, Christy Moore, Paul Brady), Galway drumming legend Miki Belton, and bassist Maidhc O’hÉanaigh really shine.
