Wildlands’ Annual Festive Fundraiser will take place on Saturday 17th December in aid of The Neonatal ICU at University Hospital Galway.

Galway NICU has a special place in the hearts of the team at Wildlands this Christmas with one of their owners experiencing first-hand the exceptional care, service and love given to their baby girl, Charlotte, by the Galway team over the last few months.

The Neonatal Unit in Galway is the regional unit for the West and North West of Ireland with babies from as far away as Donegal to the North and East to the Midlands meaning for some parents it becomes very difficult to visit every day, particularly if their babies are resident for a substantial length of time. This year’s annual fundraiser will go towards assisting these parents with accommodation costs near UHG, allowing them to spend precious time with their babies in the Galway NICU along with equipment costs in the NICU.

The proceeds of all beverage sales including coffee, tea, mulled wines, minerals and festive drinks from the Olive Tree Kitchen will be donated on the day and there will donation buckets at points of sale. Everyone who donates on the day will be entered into a draw to win a €200 voucher for Wildlands.. There will be runner up prizes too, including some Wildlands merch! So please dig deep if you can and help raise much-needed funds to assist the wonderful team at Neonatal ICU at UHG.

A similar fundraiser will also take place in Corrib House Tea Rooms in Galway city on the same day, So, if it’s within your means, please come on down to either location and enjoy a hot beverage or a festive mulled wine and donate whatever you can to this worthy cause. All sales proceeds mentioned above, and donations will go directly to Neonatal ICU Fund Galway University Hospital.
