For one night only! Unidentified Flying Taqueria Presents a one-stop, truck-stop, pop-up Mexican food joint at The Blue Note in Galway’s Westend on Friday October 22nd.

They’ll be serving tongue-tickling tostadas, Secret Cevicheria and other bites along with refreshing Micheladas & Beer pairings thanks to Grand Cru Beers and The White Hag Irish Brewing Company, who will be launching a brand new beer on the night; ‘Undead Inside’ – a forest fruit hazy ale (4.8%). As well as delicious drinks and eats, they’ll have righteous tunes from local hero Rob Rua to keep you dancing ’til late! The one-off special menu will be released on The Blue Note’s Instagram on Thursday so make sure you are following them to keep up to date. It’s first-come-first-served so put it in the diary now and get down there from 6-10pm on Friday October 22nd to Eat your heart out, Boogie on the dance floor, and Sample a few tasty tipples! Costumes encouraged. Hasta La Vista baby!

The Chefs: Bryan Rudd & Epi Rogan
He’s studied butchery and charcuterie in France and has done pop-ups in Portland and Vietnam. Most recently he was a glug-glug pourer and small plate maker in the soon to be iconic McCurtain Wine Cellar.
She is the former sous in Pilgrim’s and Paradiso and most recently was slinging plates in Nell’s Wine Bar!

The DJ: Rob Rua
Rob Rua is a rave music DJ based in Galway, Ireland. He has played at parties and festivals across Ireland, the UK, and Europe including Boomtown, Outlook, Dimensions, Fusion, Life, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Open Ear All Together Now and Kallida. Rob runs Ar Ais Arís, an electronic music party in Galway providing big soundsystems and lineups in small, safe spaces. Rob’s DJ sets focus on high energy, low-end dance music, taking in garage, UK funky, jersey club, breakbeat and maybe even a bit of jungle.
