TABÚ Spring Equinox Party at The Garden, Electric

TABÚ is a FINTA centred night (Female, Intersex, Non-Binary & Trans) that focuses on creating community and solidarity in a Queer space.

Spring Equinox is the time to shake off winter slumber and celebrate new energy, project planning, community building & great music.

This is a spring launch of Tabú but also for other projects that have been cooking over the winter period. What a better time than the Spring Equinox to launch new ideas and a new energy!

There will be a open format section of the evening, called ‘Notions’ where anyone can jump up and introduce their idea, project or intentions for this year.

This event is about collectivising the Queer & FLINTA arts and events community. A time for us to come together, celebrate what we have achieved and support each other on what we want to do next.

We will be taking a look at Welfare and Safety at night time events and how we can grow this essential part of event production

After, there will be live music, Queer performers and DJs, so there will be plenty of opportunity for dancing as well as chats.

Supported by Galway City Council and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, building on Galway’s thriving night-time economy by ensuring everyone feels welcome to participate.
