TABÚ is a FINTA centred night (Female, Intersex, Non-Binary & Trans) that focuses on creating community and solidarity in a Queer space.

Still revelling in the glow of the hugely successful Pride event, TABÚ is back for another spicy instalment of mischief and mayhem. In its new home, The Space, be sure you can enjoy campy bass heavy bangers, ass shaking, weird and wonderful performers and that shapes will indefinately, be thrown.

TABÚ was set up to be a safe haven for all members of the Queer community with a heavy focus on FINTA (Female, Intersex, Non-Binary & Trans) members. Accessibility and inclusivity is a president at TABÚ.
The venue is fully wheelchair or mobility requirements accessible (entrance, toilets, smoking area but bar is regular height and a temporary ramp is put in place to access dancefloor but there are ample dancing areas around dancefloor that are independently accessible)

All profits will be donated to Nour Foundation who delivery life saving aid in Gaza and Palestine.

As always Welfare Stewards and our Code of Conduct will be in place to keep everyone safe.

There will be a photography consent system in place where you chose a green wristband if you consent to photographs and an organge one if you don’t so everyone kept safe and comfortable.

There is no dress code but attendees tend to wear Queer club attire or just the outfit you don’t usually feel comfortable wearing to your local pub!

TABÚ Queer Club Night is funded by Galway City Council Night-Time Economy and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, building on Galway’s thriving night-time economy by ensuring everyone feels welcome to participate.
