TABÚ is a FINTA centred night (Female, Intersex, Non-Binary & Trans) that focuses on creating community and solidarity in a Queer space.

TABÚ promises to be a night to remember with different DJs at each event from both locally and further afield, combined with spellbinding Queer performers in many different styles of performance, all set to the backdrop of prioritising safety, welfare and inclusion at its heart.

TABÚ takes place in The Space, a private and wheelchair accessible venue in the city centre with ample room and ignited by a Function One sound system. As safety and welfare is high on the agenda at each event, there will be a strict Code of Conduct which enforces respect for each other. Welfare Stewards are also present to look after anyone needing help or assistance who have been trained in various subjects like disclosures, spiking, bystander intervention, etc.

TABÚ Queer Club Night is funded by Galway City Council Night-Time Economy and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, building on Galway’s thriving night-time economy by ensuring everyone feels welcome to participate.
