Come on over to Massimo this February to support a medical elective to Kenya with Brighter Communities Worldwide.

“Hi, our names are Hannah Foy and Maeve Mac Giollarnath.

We are two fourth year medical students studying at the University of Galway.

In June 2026, we will be travelling to Kenya to volunteer with Brighter Communities Worldwide – a charity based in Ireland that has been partnering with communities in rural Kenya for over 20 years to improve lives and create lasting change.

It’s a real privilege to share our skills and support their incredible work on the ground. Together with local teams, we’ll be involved in practical community development projects that focus on improving healthcare, education, access to clean water and sanitation, and creating opportunities for income generation. We feel passionate about this cause and hope that we will make a positive impact.

To help raise funds, we are running a table quiz and we’d be so grateful for your support.
