Dark folk/blues duo Rufus Coates and Jess Smith will celebrate the release of their new album ‘Lost & Found’ in the intimate and unique setting of the West End Art Collective.

Rufus and Jess will present a night of music and art where the audience will be invited into the dark, surrealistic world created by the duo through music and paintings
Two electrically charged vocalists, acoustic guitar and growling, prowling synths Rufus and Jess’ music has been stunning audiences around Europe for almost a decade with mesmerising live shows infiltrating hearts and minds.

Having recently returned to Ireland from Berlin where the duo lived for a number of years Rufus Coates and Jess Smith are releasing Lost & Found an album of songs that reflect on their time in Berlin and the return to their roots in Ireland.
The night promises to be an atmospheric and intimate affair where audience members will experience performances of songs off the new album while surrounded by an exhibition of Rufus’ paintings. The paintings are a selection of works created over the last 18 months that deal with topics such as the isolation that is felt even while we are amongst crowds, the constant distractions that blind us from reality and the feeling of being lost in a turbulent world.

Rufus and Jess will be joined on the night by very special guest the next new low who will share some wonderful songs.
The exhibition will run from 21st – 28th Feb
