Reginald D Hunter & Friends at Róisín Dubh

Reginald D Hunter returns to Róisín Dubh alongside Glenn Wool & Karl Spain for a night of phenomenal stand-up comedy.

Reginald D Hunter
Since his arrival in the UK Reginald’s searingly honest observations both onstage and on TV have garnered him a cross-generational fan base. His TV appearances have included Have I Got News For You? and two series of the BBC2’s hugely popular Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South & Songs of The Border, documenting Reginald’s epic road trip through 150 years of American popular song.

Reginald has been performing comedy in the UK for over 20 years. During that time he has become one of the Comedy industry’s best-known performers for his distinctive take on the most diverse range of subjects. His work can be brutally honest and is often considered to be controversial but it is always meticulously thought out and he has never been afraid to face challenging issues head on even when the focus is on his own principles or beliefs.

Glenn Wool
Glenn Wool is “effortlessly funny with an affability that other comics can only dream of” (The Guardian), an “edgy, imaginative, funny and original who sets the standards at the Fringe” (Daily Telegraph). This comedic ability has seen Glenn perform in Australia, New Zealand, USA, South Africa, Europe, Singapore, and even Saudi Arabia. He was nominated for Best International Stand Up at The New Zealand Comedy Awards and twice for Best Headliner at the Chortle Awards. A huge music fan, he has also played Reading, Leeds, Download & Glastonbury Festivals

Karl Spain
Karl Spain has long been established as one of Ireland’s most popular comedians, from his own tours and touring with others, and has appeared at festivals all over the world. Karl has worked with some of the world’s greatest comedians (his peers ahem, cough). Karl has written for lots of comedians over the last decade or so, so you have been laughing at his jokes even when you didn’t realise it. But he has kept all the best jokes for himself.
