This October the nation’s biggest comedy festival will take over Galway’s pubs and theatres for seven joyous nights, transforming the city and county into Ireland’s Comedy Capital – in the process delivering an unforgettable celebration of humour, wit, and all things funny.

When The First Lady of Irish Comedy played this summer’s Galway International Arts Festival, it was an absolute sell-out and she’s returning to the west for #GCF24.

An accomplished actor, podcast host and charity worker, O’Kane is bound to be one of the festival highlights. A dazzlingly charismatic star, her stage presence allows her to explore some darker material especially in her latest show O’Kaning It, an hour of side splitting and occasionally guilty laughs.
