This is a mini-marathon to celebrate the new bank holiday in the West. Just 20 minutes from Galway City, this is a chance for women to get together and run, jog or walk past Europe’s largest Turlough and celebrate being alive.

This event is being organised by Craughwell Athletic Club which plays a vital role in keeping young women involved in sport in Galway.

Goals Gym Galway are the Proud Sponsors of this the First ever Galway Women’s Mini Marathon. One of Goals Gym’s owners Gráinne will be taking part in the 10k and running the pre race warm up on the day to get all the women ready to go.

100% of all proceeds go directly to Sports facilities in the local area.

On the day, all participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a beanie hat. Prize money for the top 3 ladies and 1st Junior (u20)

Runners, joggers and walkers are all welcome.
