Irish duo Dea Matrona are coming to the Róisín Dubh this May as part of their UK and Ireland tour to celebrate the release of their album ‘For Your Sins’.

Dea Matrona’s highly anticipated debut album ‘For Your Sins’ is out on Friday the 3rd of May. The first snippet of their debut album comes in the form of their brand new single ‘Stuck on You’, out now.

With a crashing bassline and heavy instrumental groove, ‘Stuck On You’ carries the band’s ethos of bold, sensational rock with a modern twist. Catapulting and captivating, the song tells of being hopelessly drawn to someone’s charm.

Dea Matrona comprises two school friends, Mollie McGinn and Orlaith Forsythe, who grew up busking to their favourite rock ‘n’ roll anthems on the streets of Belfast. Covering the likes of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’ and Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Homeward Bound’, they have reached an online community of 250,000 followers and racked up over 8 million views on YouTube. With their hard hitting riffs and musical intensity they have established a rare, sensational sound – gritty and real but loaded with melody and style, which has so far garnered support from Clash, The New Cue, The Independent, MusicRadar and more.
