Cúr is the biological brainchild of brothers Adam and Martin Culleton. Reared on the bog outside of Mountmellick, Co. Laois, Cúr have played all over Ireland from busking on the streets of Kilkenny to Galway (Roisin Dubh, Aras na Geal, Ol55, Crowes, The Loft) to the Bello Bar in Dublin to Electric Picnic they have honed their craft over the last few years. The music of Cúr is deeply influenced by two forces: Blues and Grunge. They also draw influence from Irish Folk and Americana to create a truly original sound with sweet yet gritty guitar tones and soulful solos. With a promising summer ahead, they plan to release their debut single “My Kind” in the coming months.
