This project will bring together children from ages 2-5 to take part in workshops facilitated by accredited play therapy and expressive arts facilitator, Marie Farinas.

The workshop will be inherently creative. Expressive arts serve as a non-linguistic avenue of communication, marking conveys symbolic representation of thought and experience the workshop is an opportunity for children to visually express their feelings and views. Additionally, Music can facilitate the expression of emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, and create a sense of community. By moving in response to music as a group, it can produce synchrony.

The workshop is experiential and journey centered rather than product focused. The experience is both imaginative and inquisitive.
