A bilingual workshop on reframing the “tragic woman” in Irish literature

Tragedy typically consumes the lives of women in Irish literature. In this multi – disciplinary workshop, participants will be invited to challenge this trope and change this narrative through collaboration, storytelling and activities.

This bilingual event will be lead by Seoirsín Bashford and Sorcha de Faoite. Both Sorcha and Seoirsín have completed research projects on this topic in their time at University and have worked in the Irish language theatre industry.

Suggested Donation: 5 euro in venue

The event will be held in both English and Irish. All levels of Irish are welcome.
