Presenting one of the greats, co-founder of Rupture and EQ50 – Mantra!
Known for her deep, emotive sets that push the boundaries of drum and bass while still paying homage to its foundation, Mantra brings an intense passion into her selection, striking just the right balance between dark and uplifting. Far more than just a DJ and producer, Mantra’s work developing, curating, and promoting the Rupture brand, as a label and as jungle’s premier event, speak to how deeply drum and bass culture influences her life. Community work has played a vital role in her life and in 2018 she started the initiative EQ50 to mentor and support women within the heavily male dominated drum and bass genre.

On support they are chuffed to invite back Chord Memory, aka Jeanie, who emerged from the vibrant Irish electronic music scene of the 1990s, carving out her place as one of the first women drum and bass DJs in Ireland. In 1999, she picked up her first set of decks and after an introduction to Dublin’s premier drum’n’bass crew, Bassbin Recordings, played one of her first gigs at their legendary ‘Refuge’ night. She became a fixture in Dublin’s underground dance music scene, known for her blend of atmospheric drum’n’bass and straight-up dancefloor rollers.
