A Modern Movement is proud to be bringing Northern Irish legends AXIS OF to Galway, for a night of punk antics.

Axis Of is Niall Lawlor (guitar, vocals), Ewen Friers (bass, vocals) and Ethan Harman (drums); friends raised on Ireland’s north coast, between the tourist towns of Portstewart, Portrush and Portballintrae.

Bannered Mare hail from the west of Ireland and specialise in their own brand of Mathy Post-rock/Punk. Described as Biffy Clyro meets And so i watch you from afar with hints of Math Rock, they have everything from anthemic choruses to hefty riffs and intricate time signatures, all wrapped up in a loud and energetic package.

Limerick’s post-punk/indie band His Father’s Voice deliver a brooding yet purposeful sound with soaring pop melodies, muscular rhythms, and immersive guitars.

Mammoth head is a musical project presenting a heavy form of rock music with progressive and atmospheric elements. The project was formed in the summer months of 2022 in galway city, and to date consists of 3 active members, John Nelson on vocals and guitar, Lucas Azevedo on bass guitar and Alan Casey on drums. This project takes influence from a wide range of musical genres from folk music to Prog Rock/Metal.
