A Modern Movement present Going Coastal Special at Seven Bar

AMM is proudly teaming up with the notbad.ie gang to host a night of their brand new Going Coastal festival, with their buds NERVES, PUNCHING PEACHES, SOME REMAIN, and brand new Galway Dublin act, THE CINDERELLA PHILLIPS.

Nerves are an experimental punk outfit from Mayo and Galway. They pull elements from Post-punk/rock, gothic music, post-hardcore, techno and shoegaze to create a dense, pulverising soundscape that flits from moments of ethereal beauty, to deafening chaos. Their live shows are known for being cathartic, unpredictable and obscenely loud. Having supported some of the best of Irish and UK punk acts over the course of the last year, the band are gearing up for a very busy 2024, and with new releases on the horizon, they plan to continue their upwards trajectory to be one of the most enthralling bands in the country.

Punching Peaches are an Galway post-punk band. Punching Peaches emerged from a basement in Galway after a chance encounter between three hungry pigs; front man Conor King, guitarist Jack Sinnott and drummer Naoise Jordan Cavanagh. The group cut up and combine an un-tasteful smattering of sonic influences as well as taking cues from the worlds of art, literature and cinema. Bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective to the Irish post- punk revival, they will stop at nothing to take your money away from you.

Some Remain are an Alternative Punk 4 piece from Sligo. They craft catchy, noisy and experimental tunes which they have performed throughout the country in their energetic live shows. In their current line up they have released a number of diverse singles. Most recently; short and abrasive Hardcore Punk track ‘Knuckle Sandwich

The Cinderella Phillips are a Rock band from Dublin who released their debut album “Man In Rowboat” in may 2023 to biblical universal acclaim, the likes of which have not been witnessed in recent human history. The band comprises of James Lonergan, Phil Noone and Fergus Grant. Come join them for their very first ever show!!!
