Pastacrisciut

Street Food from Napoli

If you’re wandering around the vibrant Galway Market and find yourself feeling peckish, make a beeline for Pastacrisciut, a little food truck where chef Lia Vavuso serves up mouthwatering traditional street food straight from Napoli. Her fried pizza (montanara) is an absolute must-try, perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously indulgent on the inside.

Run with heart and serious culinary skill, this charming food truck offers an authentic taste of Naples with handmade delights like crocché, frittatina di pasta, panini Napoletani, and focaccia. Everything on the menu is lovingly prepared, bursting with flavour, and totally unique, you won’t find food like this anywhere else in Galway!

Lia also brings her homemade Neapolitan goodies to a few select spots around town, including Sheridans Cheesemonger, Mad Yolk Farm, and Áitiúil in Barna. But be warned, Pastacrisciut has a loyal following, and her treats often sell out fast, so be sure to get there early and treat yourself to some unforgettable bites!
