Galway United FC Galway's Local Soccer Club

Whether you are a football fan or not, the atmosphere at Eamonn Deacy Park in Terryland is always electric on match-day and is definitely something you will want to experience while you are in Galway. The hallowed stadium, named after Galway United and Aston Villa legend Eamonn Deacy, sparks into life whenever GUFC take to the field with The Maroon Army singing, chanting and cheering from the stand as the action unfolds.

Tickets are great value, considering the entertainment to be had, so it makes for a fantastic evening out for all ages. A short walk from Woodquay, stop into one of the local pubs for a drink or a bite to eat before you join the crowd heading down to Terryland. At half-time you can enjoy sweets, grub and warm drinks from the concession stands around the stadium and stop into the club shop for some merch that will let you wear your colours with pride.
