Strange Brew presents Sarah Brooki at Róisín Dubh.

Sarah Brooki is a young musician from Headford, County Galway. Now leaning into a heavier sound, growing up she was always fascinated by the sights of local bands and musicians.

Her music is a heavily inspired by a mix of 90s alternative music, modern post-punk, soft indie folk and rock. Sarah is often compared to the likes of Jeff Buckley, Wolf Alice and PJ Harvey with a defining unique twist.

She has played in a variety of venues (Whelans, The Workmans Club, Roisin Dubh, etc.) and opened for some very notable artists, most recently, fellow Galway bred artist Maija Sofia.

She is currently studying songwriting in BIMM Dublin and has big plans for her future. A single release of one of her many songs “Tell Me” is set to happen next May and is highly anticipated in the Irish music scene.
