EAT – Tartare

For some great grub, head to Galway’s Westend. More specifically, head to Tartare; a cosy café which transforms into a sumptuous wine bar by night. Whether it’s for a tasty sourdough sandwich or a romantic cheese plate, Tartare’s laid back atmosphere will have you feeling right at home.

With open mic nights on Wednesday, live music Thursdays and Fridays and a live DJ on Saturdays, the atmosphere is always electric. Shop – The Sheep Shop

If you’re in the market for an authentic and true hand crafted Galway made gift, The Sheep is your place. Scarves, throws, rugs, socks, framed prints, greeting cards (to name but a few) are all available for purchase, whether it’s for yourself or as a souvenir.
