Speaking about Gradam 2020, Cathaoirleach Ghaillimh le Gaeilge Bernadette Mullarkey said:
“We are delighted with the entries to this year’s Gradam, both the record number and the diversity involved. We welcome the new businesses and the more established names to the Gradam and we commend them on their use of Irish as an important element in their business plans. All entrants, particularly this year 2020, will have their efforts in the promotion of Irish in business magnified throughout Ireland, Europe and further afield as part of the spotlight on Galway during our year as European Capital of Culture. Comhghairdeas libh go léir as bhur dtiomantas chun Gaillimh a choinneáil dátheangach agus difriúil. Gach rath oraibh i mbliana.”
