We can't all walk together, but we should be especially grateful for the close family members that we are still able to walk with this year

The Galway Memorial Walk in aid of Galway Hospice is a special way to celebrate loved ones no longer with us. Over the years it has been a great source of togetherness, helping people heal and grieve while raising money for the incredible work of Galway Hospice. It will be slightly different this year, but you can check out videos and images from past events below.

This year, we can’t all come together to walk so Galway Hospice is asking you to walk somewhere special with family and friends on Sunday 13th September in memory of lost loved ones. Maybe the local woodlands, where your loved one used to pick acorns? Or maybe the beach where your loved one would take a dip? Wherever is special for you and your family, you can now walk within your family unit while staying connected with all of the other walkers virtually.

It is sure to be a special event! Galway Hospice has continued to provide care throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and needs your support now more than ever.

Make it a walk to remember, for you and other, by registering your place HERE. Alternatively, you can call 091-770868 to register.
