Galway Unites: Albert Dolan TD and Cllr. Alan Cheevers Champion Unity at Voices of Tribes 2.0

Galway, 15 November 2025 – Galway’s multicultural heartbeat will be on full display this Saturday as Voices of Tribes 2.0 returns. Hosted by GOCOM Radio in partnership with Amdalah Africa Foundation – AMDAF and funded by the Galway City Council Local Community Event Fund, the celebration will be officially opened by Albert Dolan TD and Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Alan Cheevers, who will highlight Galway’s commitment to inclusion, connection, and cultural collaboration.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, Voices of Tribes 2.0 brings together performers, artists, and storytellers from across the globe. Attendees can enjoy music, dance, visual art, poetry, and cuisine from diverse nationalities — offering a true reflection of Galway’s growing multicultural landscape.

“Voices of Tribes is a chance for Galway to showcase the beauty of its diversity while reminding us of the strength we have when we stand together,” said Islammiyah Saudique-Kadejo, CEO of GOCOM Radio and convener of Voices of Tribes 2.0. “This event is about connection, celebration, and giving every voice a platform.”

Voices of Tribes 2.0 takes place at the Galway Rowing Club, Woodquay, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event is free and open to all, welcoming residents, visitors, and families to celebrate creativity, culture, and community.
