Sulk Hogan is releasing her debut single Crush in the lovely surrounds of the Soul Garden out the back of Massimo. On the night she will be joined by the very talented Siúcra and Rosie Connelly.

Sulk Hogan is an emerging indie band based in Galway. Inspired by CMAT and The Cranberries, their songs centre around queer joy and rage, and growing up in post-Catholic Ireland.

Siucra
Siúcra are a six-piece genre blurring band from Galway, Ireland, blending blues, folk, and shades of shoegaze into a sound that’s theirs by sheer graft and instinct. With lead vocals from Ophelia Mortimer backed by Ben McGowan on vocals and Guitar, Diarmuid Byrne on guitar, Rory Murphy on fiddle, Luke Stapleton on bass, and Tiernan Bines on drums, Siúcra build songs that lean into mood and melody without losing their bite. For the past three years, they’ve earned their stripes the hard way, gigging up and down the Wild Atlantic Way, Dublin, Cork, and this summer London, playing every room that would have them, and shaping their sound in the process. Their debut EP ‘Rosetta’ dropped in winter 2024 to solid local support, and with a new release on the way this summer, they’re keeping their heads down and letting the music do the talking

Rosie Connelly
Rosie Connelly is a Galway based singer songwriter who has been performing in Galway both in bands and as a solo act since 2019. Influenced by Adrien Lenker, Mitski and all your other favourite sad indie folk women, her music will tug on heart strings while also becoming your favourite ear worm. She is currently working on and recording an album of her own, as well as being a proud member of the Sulk Hogan ensemble.
