Hosted by This is Galway’s very own Chloe Richardson, the book club is gonna chat about all things literature every second and fourth Thursday of the month.

Charlie Byrnes Bookshop will also be hooking up Novels & Notions members with a discount on the book of the moment!!

No pressure to have the book yet, their first club meet will be a chill wee evening to answer any notions you may have and get a chance to meet your fellow book and coffee enthusiasts!

The first book is… “Second Place” by Rachel Cusk!
“Second Place follows the story of what happens when a woman, disillusioned by much of her life, invites a famed artist to spend time at her second home in a remote coastal region where she’s living. She hopes that his presence will uncover something within herself, desperate to understand herself and surroundings. The book touches on female fate/ longing, personal relationships and their shape, and the salvation and destruction that can be found through art.”
