On the night, everyone is invited come together to show support for Palestine and raise much needed funds and awareness about the current situation. Enjoy performaces on the night from 5 local artists/bands. There will also be a raffle on the night supported my lots of local business’ so plenty of nice prizes up for grabs. Some tickets will be available on the door on the night also.

The line up:
Ian McHugh spent 10 years recording and touring in ‘A Plastic Rose’ on Third Bar Records. He’s collaborated with Beoga, A Northern Light and members of General Fiasco, and performed at Electric Picnic, Reading and Leeds Festivals and London’s O2. Since then Ian’s been working in architecture, immersing himself in Irish folk music and the Galway culture and night life.

Katie O’ Connor is a local Galway singer songwriter. She found the beautiful world of busking while studying to become a midwife and fell in love. In her own words “For the past decade I have been falling into the kindness of others and sharing the meta melodies. Love is an ocean. Music is a boat. Its all a gift.”

Ryan Bradley is a signer songwriter originally born in Manchester to Irish parents but who now lives his musical career in Galway. Ryan’s Manchurian lilt paired with his folk and indie rock fused songwriting style creates a beautiful experience for the listener. Inspired by artists through the ages Ryan’s music is a joy to listen to and ever evolving.

Those Empty Vessels are a local energetically melancholic traditional Irish Music band. Recently adding another local singer to their Fiddle, Bodhran, Mandolin and Guitar line up the band are ever evolving and very much on the up. In their own words they are “Galway based trad band for the working class (and everyone else) who sing of love, loss and debauchery.”

Derek Ellard and the Future Business Model are a four piece Alt/Folk/rock band based out of Galway, Ireland. Consumed by the nuance of human condition, the band’s songwriter, Derek, delves head first into the woes of our current climate with his emotionally charged rhetoric reinforced by their distinct use of vocal harmonies and metrical sleight of hand. As deliberately challenging as it is intoxicating. Often hysterical, invariably restless but principally honest. Pushing folk rock in new and challenging directions. Blurring the lines of genre definition through expansive production, stealing pages from math rock, jazz, electronica all the while nurturing a pop sensibility. Produced, recorded and released, in conjunction with Joseph Padfield under the Umbrella records collection.
