Experience meaningful conversations and deep connections with strangers while playing ‘Where Should We Begin’ a card game by Esther Perel, organised by Irish Socksciety in collaboration with Massimo.

This event aims to create a safe and joyful environment for those who love to chat, share stories, and are willing to really open up. There may be laughs, banter, tears and contemplation. All raw, truthful, and so human. Gaeilgeoirs make sure to join too!

‘Where should we begin? A game of stories’ is a card game. Participants are sat in small groups at a table, each participant is handed a few cards; there is one prompt/question on each card. The first person picks a card from their pile, answers the prompt/question, and then the rest of the group answers that question too. Now the next person picks a question from their pile, answers it, and then the rest of the group answers that question too…

This continues until you feel you have now saved on your therapy session this week.

Esther Perel is a Belgian psychotherapist (based in the US) known for her work on human relationships. She has been globally recognised for her creative and refreshing perception of relationships. Esther is an author of ‘Mating in captivity’, runs two podcasts and has created ‘Where should we begin. A game of stories’.

‘Irish Socksciety is a Galway based socks brand that has human connection at its core.
