Having performed all over the world for close to a decade now, Sean Finnerty was recently rewarded for his efforts becoming the first Irish born comedian in history to perform on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He was also the host to Season 9 of Fireball Run on Amazon Prime and has performed at some iconic venues such as the Comedy Cellar in New York and the Comedy Store in LA.
“One of the funniest comedians to come out of Ireland” – Jimmy Fallon
Hospital radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury is the creation of Tom Binns, a former breakfast radio host on London’s XFM as well as a comedian in his own right. As himself, Binns won the Jongleurs new act of the year. He is the star and co-writer of the BBC 1 Friday Night Comedy Series Hospital People. He’s been in BBC shows Alan Partridge, Lee and Herring, Friday / Saturday Night Armistice and Channel 4 shows IT Crowd, Drifters and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and the feature films Going to Mecca and Eaten by Lions.
Therese Cahill is Ireland’s first female “limp-up” comic, singer, songwriter, actress, writer, mother, former life model and reluctant temp! With the cheekiest of grins, she reels off songs written somewhere deep within a slightly corrupt yet (mostly) harmless mind, all done with the smile that would win over even the most hardened of psychopaths! She’s the perfect mix of warmth and devilment! As seen on Ireland’s Got Talent.
This show is hosted by the “achingly funny” Karl Spain. Karl has been in stand-up comedy for over twenty years. Last seen on telly hosting Laughter In The Eyre filmed at last years Comedy Carnival, Karl is probably best known in Ireland for losing a few ounces on Celebrity Operation Transformation, and his TV series Karl Spain Wants A Woman in which he not only got huge ratings but he also found himself a woman. As well as being a regular at Kilkenny Cat Laughs, Galway Comedy Carnival, Vodafone Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Montreal Just for Laughs. Karl was a resident writer for Republic of Telly and still is for countless other comedians.
