Soon, she joins him in his criminal activities and they begin a national crime spree.Considered a groundbreaking film of the New Hollywood era, Bonnie and Clyde shattered cinematic taboos and inspired other filmmakers to push boundaries in their own work. It quickly became a rallying cry for counterculture audiences and contributed to greater openness in the portrayal of sex and violence in cinema.
