May Forest Bathing Walk

Celebrate the arrival of summer with a relaxing, grounding Forest Bathing Walk at Brigit’s Garden on Sunday 21st May at 10.30am – 1pm with qualified guide Carol Barrett.

This event will open ourselves to the growth, warmth, joy and abundance of the summer season. Have you heard the cuckoo yet? Have you spotted a swallow? All around us, there is blossom, light, life and growth and within us we wonder what is ready to blossom in our lives. During this event you are invited to reflect on these themes as we slow down and connect with nature.

When we align with the seasons and connect with the life-force of nature, we are open to receive gifts of well-being and wisdom.

Forest Bathing is based on the Japanese practice of “Shinrin Yoku”. It is a multi-sensorial, nature mindfulness experience that uses grounding exercises to connect with nature leaving you refreshed and relaxed.

During this 2.5 hour experience, you will be guided around the Garden and woodlands. You will be invited to focus on your senses, become aware of what you see, hear, smell, touch, and taste and slow down to absorb the natural world around you. Each one of us will notice something different, and you will be invited to share some of your experiences within the group…or not! What ever feels good for you!
