The latest addition to Galway’s thriving culinary scene, Merrow is set on the ground floor of Pálás Cinema in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Taking its name from ancient Irish legend, Merrow aims to deliver the full experience to visitors of the cinema, as well as those just visiting for the restaurant and bar, as no cinema ticket is required.
Merrow’s seasonally shifting menus consist of produce from local suppliers in Galway town and county as well as drawing influence from the wilderness of the nearby coast and countryside.
The first-floor craft bar serves a carefully curated list of cocktails, spirits, Old and New World wines, beers, and craft brews throughout the day and night which can also be taken in to enjoy in each of the screens for those heading to see a film!
Their menu showcases the purity, freshness and simplicity of Irish ingredients, where the flavours are balanced and the presentation is straight to the point. Guests can expect seasonal, colourful and hearty dishes with modern knowledge on health.
We are proud to work with some incredible Irish food producers including Gannet Fishmongers, Sheridan’s Cheesemongers, Heaney Meats, Curley’s Fruit & Veg, La Rouse and Goya’s Bakery.
