For a great value, cosy and relaxed dining experience, Hungry Eyes in Galway city centre will always be one of our favourites.

Open for breakfast through to evening dinner, the menus at Hungry Eyes have loads of variety with plenty of the classics as well. This restaurant is still a relatively new addition to the city, but is already one of Galway’s greatest hidden gems thanks to its incredible service, great value dishes and welcoming atmosphere.

The menus here consist of Irish/Mediterranean cuisine however they also serve some of the most popular gastropub dishes to ensure that there’s something here for everyone. They also have a bar with Guinness and other beers on tap, with wine and spirits available too. We for one know that the steak sandwich and pint combo is a winner for us – any day!

Hungry Eyes’ chic and cosy interior also makes it ideal for date nights, however the large space also is perfect for a pre-night out catch up with pals or for special occasions. Its central location and proximity to the car park across the road only add to its appeal as a fabulous meeting place for both friends and family.
