18ctea is a Malaysian street food chain that has gained huge popularity in Dublin over the last few years and can now be found in Galway! Across from the famous Kirwan’s Lane and surrounded by some of the city’s quirkiest shops and pubs, the area is the perfect fit. Stop by to try their famous Taiwanese Bao Buns, Bubble Tea, Waffles and Japanese Street Food such as veg dumplings, udon noodle soup, prawn tempura, takoyaki squid balls and more! The flavours are incredible and taste even better when washed down with one of their refreshing drinks. You can create your own drink from the colourful flavours and choices available, or choose from their specially curated menu if you’re new to the world of bubble tea!

The interior is full of retro Hong Kong vibes with neon lights, Asian pop culture imagery and funny phrases adorning the walls. One example of such a phrase is “when you have time, drink some tea!”… who knew Ireland and Asian had so much in common?! It’s so much fun here, in fact, that you could easily spend hours sipping bubble tea, nibbling on dumplings and soaking up the culture!
