CITÓG RECORDS HOST CHRISTMAS CHARITY SHOW
This year, for their annual Christmas charity show, Citóg Records are partnering with The Melting Pot Luck to provide you with all the festive cheer you could wish for.
The local music collective invite you to join the festivities in The Black Gate on December 13th to raise funds and awareness for an incredible cause. You will be entertained by a fantastic line-up of local artists such as New Pope, Katie O’Connor, Touché, Kieran O’Brien and The Curly Organ. There will be a raffle on the night with prizes from some of the best businesses around; Electric, Kembali, The Blue Note and Irish Socksciety to name a few.
Enjoy this feast of yuletide merriment for just €5, though attendees are encouraged to donate as much as they can. All proceeds will go to The Melting Pot Luck. If you can’t make it on the night but want to support the cause, you can donate through this LINK.
The Melting Pot Luck is a volunteer-run community event which is all about sharing food and meeting new people from different cultures. They host bi-monthly ‘potluck’ style dinners, bringing together the local community and people with experience of forced migration and direct provision to share food, culture, music and stories.
Citóg Records’ aim is to help ensure these wonderfully inclusive events continue to provide a platform to connect diverse members of the community and encourage acceptance and kindness all year round. This local record label is not just about music. They are passionate about fostering a sense of community spirit and creating a sustainable culture of arts in the locality.
Citóg Records is a music collective from Galway on the west coast of Ireland. They organise regular events, promote local artists and release an annual compilation of songs.
