The Blue Note
The Blue Note is Galway's true home of disco, house and dance. If you haven't boogied, shifted or completely lost the run of yourself on this dance floor then you haven't really experienced a night out in Galway! The besht of both local & International DJ's are all regulars here with the likes of The Disconauts, Moody Manc, Get Down Edits, Pontchartrain & Jimmy Mac being just a handful of the legends to have played and partied under the famous disco ball; and now so should you!!

Massimo
Bring your dancing shoes and head off on a night out at the popular boozing spot - Massimo. Open ‘til late every weekend, when you’re not trying to impress your date with some serious dance skills you can be enjoying the deliciousness of Massimo’s cocktails from the safety of a bar stool. If the dancing isn’t going well, there’s always the option of serenading them via karaoke on Thursday nights. Take over the dance floor and perform your heart out! If that doesn’t get you the shift, nothing will.

An Púcán
Every evening some of the city’s most well-known musicians play in the pub’s front door while every Friday and Saturday, the back bar is hosting some of the best cover bands and live performers. If you’re out for the night with a group of your best mates, An Púcán stays open late with a DJ spinning decks until the small hours! There’s no better spot to put a dazzling impromptu dance solo… so we’re told.

Róisín Dubh
One of Galway’s leading live music venues, the Róisín Dubh prides itself on giving established talent and emerging artists a stage. With Silent Discos every Tuesday and Wednesday and their newest club night Blush taking place every Thursday, get ready to look like a fool jumping around and belting out your favourite tunes with some like-minded sesh-lovers. On the weekend the venue is hopping with music brought to you thanks to their late-night DJs you can boogie on til the early hours and then call round to Giovanni’s for that badly needed battered sausage to round off a terrific night.

The Quays Bar 
One of the most aesthetically beautiful pubs in the city, The Quays Bar’ stained-glass windows and Gothic charm create a totally unique interior. Famous for its amazing live entertainment, the Quays Bar welcomes performers every day for live trad music sessions. Upstairs is a spectacular live music venue with a pipe organ stage on stilts and every weekend bands from all over Ireland can be found filling the venue with their incredible music, so it’s really no wonder that this pub is an excellent place to shake what your mamma gave you!
