The Blue Note is Galway's true home of disco, house and dance. Bring your dancing shoes and head off on a night out at the popular boozing spot - Massimo. Open ‘til late every weekend, when you’re not trying to impress your date with some serious dance skills you can be enjoying the deliciousness of Massimo’s cocktails from the safety of a bar stool. If the dancing isn’t going well, there’s always the option of serenading them via karaoke on Thursday nights. Take over the dance floor and perform your heart out! An Púcán
Every evening some of the city’s most well-known musicians play in the pub’s front door while every Friday and Saturday, the back bar is hosting some of the best cover bands and live performers. One of Galway’s leading live music venues, the Róisín Dubh prides itself on giving established talent and emerging artists a stage. With Silent Discos every Tuesday and Wednesday and their newest club night Blush taking place every Thursday, get ready to look like a fool jumping around and belting out your favourite tunes with some like-minded sesh-lovers. On the weekend the venue is hopping with music brought to you thanks to their late-night DJs you can boogie on til the early hours and then call round to Giovanni’s for that badly needed battered sausage to round off a terrific night.

The Quays Bar
