Galway Barista School A dedicated barista school educating individuals, restaurants and cafés on coffee-making

The Galway Barista School is headquartered just off the motorway in Tuam, which means it’s easily accessible whether you’re coming from Limerick or Sligo. The School serves the whole west of Ireland with its barista workshops, latte art classes, and home-brewing courses. They call out to universities to help classes of people upskill; they also host classes in cafés, to help the staff improve their cappuccino game. From learning about different sources of coffee beans, to creating the perfect heart on the top of a flat white, there’s no one better to learn from than the lads at the Galway Barista School.

It was founded by Frano Petrovic and Matt Flannery, who share a passion and dedication to great coffee.

Frano has dedicated the last four years to improving Galway’s coffee scene. From working in Tribeton as a barista, to founding #CoffeeTownGalway, Frano has a nearly unrivalled love of good quality coffee.

Matt Flannery comes from a family background in coffee. His father established a wholesale coffee business in 1989, which Matt and his brother George now run as Coffee.ie.

Frano and Matt have tons of experience and passion for coffee-making — so join the coffee revolution and get booked into a class!
