Electric brings boat parties and international DJs to Galway this weekend
It’s set to be a banger of a bank holiday weekend because Electric Theatre & Garden are pulling out all the stops, from the dance floor to party boats.
Set sail this Friday with the Shivers crew as they host a boat party along the River Corrib with guest DJs such as Apres Ski, Lols & Breen. Shivers previous boat party was an amazing success and this one is shaping up to be even better. The party doesn’t end there as the guys over at Electric & Shivers have a night filled with amazing music from Eoin Ryan, Endrift, Liz Rooney & Lols across the garden & Factory.
Saturday sees a whole other level of entertainment as Electric welcomes back English DJ/producer Leon Vynehall to the main floor with resident Paul Belton on support duty. Vynehall has already proved himself to be that rare thing – an artist with his own agenda rather than a producer aping the sound of the day. To date, his off-kilter sounds have come in the form of EPs of labels like Brighton’s Well Rounded Housing Project, George FitzGerald’s ManMakeMusic imprint and Will Saul’s Aus Music and have been carefully crafted things layered with musicality whilst never straying too far from an infectious groove.
The entertainment doesn’t end there as the guys from Boujee bring their Hip-Hop, Rap & Grimey sounds to the garden #allNightlong. You can also find Electric regular Jerico in Factory on the night. Wrapping up a stellar weekend with Graham Doherty on the main floor, Mitch presents in the garden & Basement Project in Factory.
