Tosnú Locally sourced deliciousness
A recent addition to the Galway food scene and the brain child of Aidan Scanlan and Mark Cambell, Tosnú Restaurant is a small establishment at 14 Upper Abbeygate Street. Two vastly experienced chefs, coming together to open a restaurant with the intention of using mostly locally sourced produce from up the road cheese mongers, locally growing vegetable, to out of town farmers and fish mongers; keeping it as local as possible is the key to our growing success.
Tosnú is an Irish word which means to start or begin, and we take this Irish word to mean new beginnings in the vision we see for our establishment.
