Tí Joe Watty’s Bar & Restaurant is a welcoming local Aran Islands pub serving up refreshments, good pub grub, and plenty of music & craic with a strong emphasis on customer care. The bar is well placed at the top of the village of Kilronan, at the cross-roads to the seal colony and Dún Aonghasa. It has a lovely beer garden with a sheltered decking area and plenty of sun traps too. While inside, for the cooler days, there’s an open fire to keep you warm. One of the Island’s oldest pubs, a warm welcome awaits you.
There is an extensive craft beer menu and a well thought out wine list, as well as ever growing selection of whiskies.
The Food menu has a good selection of different dishes and, although not exclusively a seafood restaurant, includes locally caught lobster and crab.
In the summer season, Wattys have live music 7 days a week and up to 3 times a day. And in the quieter season, several times per week.
