Killary Adventure Centre
If the word ‘holiday’ is synonymous with ‘adventure’ in your book, you’ve come to the right place. Killary Adventure Centre offer paintball and waterskiing, rock climbing and kayaking, and tons of other fun activities for groups and families. Killary Sheep Farm
Just up the road from the Adventure Centre is this sheep farm, run by Farmer Tom. You’ll first notice the stunning views of the Killary Fjord and the mountains beyond, but the farm has a lot more to offer! Watch a sheep dog demonstration from Farmer Tom and his super-intelligent sheep dogs, bottle-feed the lambs, take a walk while appreciating some gorgeous scenery, and even try your hand at the age-old practice of cutting turf if you’d like! Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Walled Garden
This is always a popular spot for tourists from all over the world. The Abbey itself is stunning, and in the summer when the gardens are in bloom, you could spend an entire afternoon wandering through and admiring. It’s been run by Benedictine nuns since the 1920’s, and you can shop their handmade products in the gift shop! For families, there are hands-on activities for children and enough beauty and history to make it well worth the visit.

Ballynahinch Castle Hotel
