Cushion Concert Summer Series 2018
Cushion Concert Summer Series 2018 // 23/24 June // Áras Uilinn, Moycullen (Saturday @ 5pm) & The Black Gate Cultural Centre (Sunday @ 3pm)
Adventures in Music’s summer Cushion Concert series concludes this weekend. These successful series bring children to the forefront of varied performances and introduce them to a host of instruments, musical genres and performance styles in a fun and exciting way. The Cushion Concerts are an opportunity for children to interact with musicians, ask questions and see instruments up close in action.
The series concludes this weekend with two lively performances from Claire Keville on concertina and Áine Sheridan on Irish Harp. Together they will perform an exciting traditional Irish programme designed for children and those of us who are children at heart! Galway audiences can hear them on Saturday 23rd June at 5pm in Áras Uilinn, Church Road, Moycullen and again on Sunday 24th June at 3pm in the Black Gate Cultural Centre in the city centre.
This is the final of three weekends of Cushion Concerts. Each weekend will see a set of performers visiting Áras Uilinn in Moycullen on Saturday @ 5pm, and a repeat performance on Sunday @3pm in The Black Gate Cultural Centre, Galway City. The concerts are approximately 1 hour in duration. Tickets: 1 Adult + 1 Child €10 / Family €15, can be purchased on the door. For more information, find us on Facebook or call at 091 5286965.
