Aillwee Cave & Birds of Prey Centre One of Ireland's premiere family & vistor attractions

Aillwee Cave is a popular destination for Irish families and visitors alike. With a massive cave featuring an underground waterfall, and daily demonstrations of their Birds of Prey show and more, it’s a unique experience you won’t forget.

Take a thirty-minute tour through the dramatic underworld of Aillwee Cave. As one of Ireland’s oldest caves, it has centuries-old rock formations and quite the history. Admire the strange, centuries-old rock formations and the thundering underground waterfall. Careful of the spray! Then take a break in the lovely cafe with some tea and lunch.

Pop into the Farmshop, where you can watch cheese being made in the Farm dairy. Sample some delicious homemade fudge and choose from a selection of jams, chutneys and pickles. Don’t forget to try their Burren Gold Cheese!

Last but not least, take a walk through their Birds of Prey Centre and stick around for the dynamic flying displays. Watch a peregrine falcon dive for its food, and let a snowy owl sit on your wrist. You can also take an hour-long Hawk Walk through the beautiful woods of the Burren to interact with some of nature’s top predators!
