Tomorrow being the biggest day in the pancake calendar, the decision on where to get your pancake fix can be a tricky one. From pancake party’s to free crepes to cafe’s who sell perfect pancakes all year long, here’s some places that will be serving up the delicious treat on the sweetest day of the year.

Each year people are queing out of the door of Galways’ most popular pancake and waffle stop and with good reason too. Another way to help support a deserving cause while enjoying the fun of Pancake Tuesday is to head to the Galway Autism Partnerships pancake party, where you get to decorate feshly made pancakes with delicious toppings for only €5 per family. They’ll also have diary and gluten free pancakes so no one gets left out.

This ones for the grown ups! Tigh Nora will be serving Gin pancakes for pancake Tuesday. If your a Gin lover these pancakes are for you, Savour Pancakes with Vanilla Ice Cream infused with Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin, along with a pineapple & mango compote infused with Mór Irish Gin. 6. New Park Hotel Athenry

The New Park Hotel Athenry are hosting The Flipping Marvellous Pancake Party in aid of Cancer Care West between 10am and 12 noon. For €5 per person you delicious homemade pancakes and freshly brewed coffee kindly sponsored by Bewleys.They’ll also have some great spot prizes on the day too!

7. BRASSERIE ON THE CORNER

Brasserie On The Corner will be hosting their pancake party in aid of Jigsaw, a charity that provides free and confidential services supporting young people’s mental health. For € 5 per person, there will be a selection of homemade pancakes to chose from, tea and coffee and a load of prizes to be won in their raffle. So pop on over between 10am and 12 noon to have some fun for a good cause.

8. Free Crepes at Ginos Gelato

Not only do they serve some of the best ice cream in Galway but their crepes are divine. They have a range of yummy chocolaty and fruity fillings but if your a fan of the tradition lemon and sugar crepe, you’re in luck because Ginos will be giving out free lemon and sugar crepes between 9am and 12pm.
